Our Electronic Music Producer Program is a 120-hour course, that has been designed for music producers wanting to get a great understanding of electronic music production. This is world-class training and mentoring of the highest order in Ableton Live Suite. Students get the time to produce a project of their own work during this 6-level program, that will see them gain Garnish’s own Ableton Producer certificate upon successful completion. “I needed to brush up on something, so I called Garnish, as they have the best instructors” – Jamie Jones Ableton Students will cover everything there is to know the Ableton Live Suite from the absolute basics through to a thorough exploration of all the add-ons that make this revolutionary DAW so exciting! This will include the very best of the Max4Live devices – meaning students can take away a full understanding of what it’s possible to bring to bear upon the production of their own music via Ableton Live.

Throughout the 120 hours, there will be carefully-positioned mentoring sessions that allow the student to get the most from their mentor’s help and input on their own music. This is designed not only to allow assimilation of what’s been learned but to optimize the potential of the student’s projects.

Students will get to explore sampling and audio manipulation, advanced synthesis, and other ways to work in tandem with another kit to enhance and expand their knowledge of Ableton Live. With the due application, this manipulation can become an intuitive process that is quickly learned and then built upon – including the integration of Push hardware. A good chunk of time is dedicated to analyzing tracks so that students may discover how to replicate their favorite effects and sound treatments in a series of challenging but fun exercises.

One of the greatest strengths of this program is the fact that students are never in groups larger than eight. Whether your aim might be to further improve your skills in Production or Sound Design or Processing to a more professional level or to construct a multi-channel installation that can be interacted with, the learning groups are always small – which means that the students’ focus will naturally remain tight.
